ASACP Travels to Cyprus for Webmaster Access

LOS ANGELES (August 12, 2022) — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is pleased to announce its upcoming visit to Limassol, Cyprus, for the newest installment of Webmaster Access, set for August 25-28 at the chic GrandResort Hotel.

Founded in 1996, ASACP spearheads the global fight to keep children out of and away from adult-oriented entertainment and other inappropriate materials online.

Supported by its sponsors and members, ASACP is a nonprofit organization that works with numerous international businesses, law enforcement agencies, and other digital media industry stakeholders, including Webmaster Access, to fight against child exploitation and sexual abuse.

Since 2003, WMA has focused on providing participants an experience they can customize to fit their needs, making WMA the premiere place to gain new contacts and knowledge and strike profitable business deals. Held for the first time in Limassol, the 2022 WMA event is a hybrid show, combining the best in-person and online presentations to ensure that all interested parties can benefit from this gathering of web admins and other digital media professionals.

The promoters of Webmaster Access have underwritten ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning’s admission to the event and hotel accommodations. In addition, the association will benefit from complimentary exhibition space and a table at the event’s Meet Market, allowing ASACP to reach out to adult business owners and operators face-to-face.

“ASACP’s mission without question is one of the single most important endeavors in our industry,” said a Webmaster Access spokesperson. “We are proud to support the association and its incredible efforts to protect children worldwide, and we encourage our Webmaster Access attendees to connect with Tim at the show.”

At the event, Henning will educate stakeholders about the need to protect children online by keeping them out of and away from adult-oriented entertainment and how using ASACP’s free services can help in this endeavor.

“Webmaster Access attracts adult website operators and their affiliates from across the globe,” Henning says. “This event series draws many professionals that may not often travel to U.S.-hosted events, providing the association with an opportunity to reach the widest audience possible with our message of online child protection and corporate responsibility.”

ASACP’s Travel Sponsor, DialXS, is generously underwriting Henning’s airfare to and from the venue city of Limassol, providing the association with the assistance it needs to carry out its international outreach efforts.

“Thanks to DialXS and the promoters of Webmaster Access, ASACP can engage top business leaders as well as industry newcomers face-to-face,” Henning added. “By extending our reach to new audiences, WMA provides a perfect opportunity to deliver the association’s message to frontline operators and relevant stakeholders, wherever they are based.”

ASACP uses the financial and material support it receives to fund its initiatives, such as the internationally recognized Child Exploitation Tipline, which has processed more than 1 million reports since its inception. In addition, ASACP’s Restricted To Adults (RTA) meta-labeling system helps prevent minors’ access to adult-oriented webpages and apps. Finally, its market-specific Best Practices and universal Code of Ethics guide digital media firms toward child-safe operations.
